“My Statement”
“My Statement” is clay sculpture cast in plaster, surrounded by a plastic evidence bag. This sculpture serves as a raw and honest portrayal of my brain during a traumatic time, where I felt my life became a piece of evidence. Utilizing clay as the primary medium allowed me to mold and shape the essence of vulnerability and resilience, and the impact of such experiences. It represents pain, and the transformative ability of art to capture difficult experiences into a medium for healing and understanding.
